We offer injection service for treating different types of conditions:

Bruxism (teeth grinding) using muscle relaxing injections (Botox®).

Female sexual dysfunction with PRP also known as O Shot and hydrating dermal fillers (Desirial).

Male erectile dysfunction with PRP also known as P Shot and muscle relaxing injection (Botox®) also known as BoCox.

LET'S TALK

Consultation

Prior to the treatment you will have a consultation (telephone, video or in person) with our consultant doctor who will go through your medical history and assess your suitability for the treatment, explain the procedure and potential complications. This information will be also be sent to you along with the consent form via a secured online system. This will give you thinking time and you can take a decision whether you would like to go ahead with the treatment. The injection treatment may not be appropriate in all cases and in patients who are not suitable, the most appropriate treatment approach will be suggested.

Treatment

Following the consultation you can book for the treatment if you wish to proceed. Prior to the treatment your doctor will briefly discuss treatment with you at the clinic. The treatment will be carried out under strict aseptic conditions and at times aided by ultrasound where appropriate such as joint injections, trigger point injections and caudal epidurals.

If you require a chronic pain consultation, it can be arranged in-person with our chronic pain consultant.

Aftercare

It will be explained verbally and also sent to you via email. You can also call the clinic from 7am until 10pm if there are any issues. The aftercare will depend on the treatment performed for example, you may be advised to have physiotherapy after a joint injection.

Ultrasound guided Joint and Trigger point Injections for Musculoskeletal conditions

Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions can cause significant discomfort, pain, disability and interfere with daily activities and sleep at night.

Ultrasound guided Injections are a less invasive and rapid means of reducing joint and musculoskeletal pain, improve mobility and facilitate rehabilitation.

Areas of the body that can be treated using ultrasound guided injections

We can treat several areas of the body but the most commonly areas treated include hip, shoulder and knee joints. Other areas treated include elbow, wrist and elbow joints. Besides we can use ultrasound guided injections for trigger points, these are the painful/ hypersensitivity areas in our body.

Referral and self-referrals

We welcome the referrals from GP’s. Orthopaedic surgeons, chiropractors, osteopaths and physiotherapist. Patients can also do self-referrals to our clinics.
