What is the PRP Shot for male sexual dysfunction? 

The PRP Shot, is a treatment designed to enhance sexual performance plus pleasure and improve erectile dysfunction in men, particularly when this has been compromised due to ageing or medical illness.  

How does PRP for male sexual dysfunction and lasting longer in bed work? 

Injection of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) into the penile muscles results in tissue growth that possibly enhances the length and girth of the penis as well as encourage new blood vessel growth. How is PRP Shot performed to improve erections?

The blood is prepared prior to injection into the treatment area through a process of ‘’centrifugation’’ to isolate PRP. This is then injected into the penis using fine needles. The actual treatment takes about 15 minutes, and a topical anaesthetic/ local anaesthetic injection is used to minimise any feeling of discomfort. 

How long does PRP shot take to work? 

It varies between individuals. Most of the clients report an improvement after one month. 

How many sessions are required? 

Usually, clients notice a significant improvement in sexual and erectile function after 3 months. Hence, we recommend a course of 3 sessions which are done 4-6 weeks apart to achieve optimal results. 

What are the possible side effects of sexual wellbeing treatment?  

No significant side effects have been reported with this procedure. There is the possibility of mild bruising however this normally resolves within a few days following treatment.

• Keep the area clean for the next 24 hours.  
• No water contact on the same day. 
• Use penile pumps for 10 minutes twice a day for 6 weeks. This improves the blood supply in the penile area and seems to improve the effects of PRP.
